Well now, it seems the general discussion around the old board table is a future project [ or is it ongoing ?] to have a scene from SG1 done in a hanger space but with 3d holography [ laser projection ]. Good idea so that people can walk through the scene as it's being played out, watching all the action from any angle but standing in marked spots so as not to cut off the projection. Lines in the floor will allow you to walk along around the room and watch things happening before your eyes. Stage 2 is again giving lines to people [ where they stand on a spot and the actors look at them while the lines are said ] and even reply to the person there. Pick up lenses will capture all in 2d to again be cut to DVD for the tourist to take home. They Have to get the physics of it all worked out first. Oh the hanger scene will work for this one because of the space needed to put the laser projectors and scene recorders. Very good guys and NO, I don't have bugs in the board room but lets see if you can possibly figure out how I know when you do :). another dig here ' I wanna tell ya '

Elsewhere in Hollywood land - Seems someone has come up with a series like star wars and Lord of the rings that will bust all time records if made. Bigger than Ben Hur, more expensive than anything this century or last but do-able because of the new filming techniques. OK, ok I'll tell [ but I really shouldn't ] Based on the old novels of E.E.Doc Smith; Skylark series of books where universes get blown up and manipulated. Planetary systems moved around like billiard balls. Go on - do it, do it yea yea yea. Sorry I spoiled it but hey, who reads this little blog anyway. "I wanna tell ya"
