Why we should be using MORE electricity and why it should cost less the more we use.
Now at first glance, you may think that this is an idiotic statement to make. We have all been conditioned [or brainwashed] to believe that using less resources means preserving those resources for the future use. This is true as far as resources go but it also follows logically, that whatever resources we DO use, should be used as close to 100% efficiency as we can get. I don't think anyone can argue with that. The world runs on electrical power. No electricity, no 21st century - we might as well go back to the 18th century. Electricity is a strange beastie; for a start, you can't get more energy out of a system, than you put in. That's a law of physics. Because coal has more total energy locked inside it than anything else [ except oil ], we get back more in electrical power more than it costs to dig it up and burn it.
Secondly - and most importantly, You can't store base load electricity because we haven't yet made the perfect battery that’s dirt cheap and gives us nearly the same energy [ or power ] as we pump into it. We aren’t even close by a country mile. So electricity is something that is used 'on demand'; that is, it must be available 24/7/365 for us to use as we need it. At the moment, we get most of our electricity from coal fired power stations because coal is cheap to mine, easily transported, and the ash produced CAN be used for other processes. I won't get into a debate about environmental issues with coal burning; I just want to qualify the main statement made in this file. Lets see how the process works by starting at the power station itself.
The coal is pulverised to a powder and blown into the furnace. The furnace, heats the water in the boiler to high pressure steam. The steam is piped to the turbines. The turbines are coupled to the generators which turn at exactly 50 cycles/second and make electricity for us to use on demand. These generators are powerful, generating at full load, megawatts [ millions of watts ] to supply everyone, on demand. Notice I keep saying 'on demand' because that’s how the world uses electricity.
If the load is light, the generators are only supplying say 50% of what they were designed to do. The generators MUST still turn at 50 cycles/sec, they must still be ready to instantly take any load that is demanded of them [ up to their maximum ]. Although the load is light, and the work needed to turn the generators is reduced; the boilers must be ready to supply INSTANTLY, the steam pressure required to push the generators more, should the 'load' suddenly jump up. Admittedly, not as much coal is required to maintain a high load steam pressure when that steam is reduced by light load on the power grid; but this reduction is small compared to what is used under full load [ 100% ].
In short, the LESS power that is being drawn from the generator, the LESS efficient the whole system is. You can't shut down a generator like turning off the engine of a car at traffic lights to save fuel. When an electrical load changes, it changes at the speed of light although it may increase gradually - but the actual change is instantaneous.
A generator for power is MOST efficient when it's supplying that power at 95-100% load capacity. In other words, it's doing the most useful work. You get the best results from a system when it's doing the work it was built for. Can't get much simpler than that.
The most efficient power supply system is the one that is constantly supplying 95-98% of the demand placed on it. Since the demand for electricity depends on a plethora of factors, it is impractical to design a system that can be both efficient and supply instantaneous power as it is needed. So we have a compromise, we try to run the generators in such a manner that no matter WHAT load is demanded, the generators can handle it without going into 'overload'. Pretty tricky at best.
So what about the times when their is low demand ?.
The whole system is NOW inefficient and the best system for the user, or users, is to draw power in such a manner, and at such a time when the TOTAL load on the total system is near enough to steady; high low or otherwise. This of course is next to imposable because of the way people and industry work. Now to make the system as close to efficient as possible, we CAN draw enough power constantly to maintain a steady, even and consistent load. We do this by encouraging people to use MORE electricity when heavy industry does not require it [after working hours] and discounting the COST of that extra usage.
The reverse can also apply by discounting the electricity used during peak load times, IF the consumer uses under a specified amount. Once the consumer goes over that amount during peak load, additional rates would apply. Now you may think that this arrangement is next to impossible at the moment since the old metering system simply records what you use in a billing period and NOT when you used it. However, with the advent of new 'smart' meters, the tariff can be changed off site at any time from the supplier. At the very least, the tariff can be changed to reflect a discount rate during periods of light load - we can do this now by changing the tariff from 21 to 33 for all domestic use during certain hours of the day. This encourages domestic use during light load periods and brings the generator efficiency rating up a few notches. The generators are now paying their way rather than making a loss because we want to 'save' electricity; which of course is a nonsense since you can't 'save' electrical power.
Who wins ?
Well, the consumer wins firstly because he can tailor his heavy load needs to a time when there is no heavy industrial need. For this planing, he gets a cheaper rate [lower price / KW hour].
The supplier wins because instead of people reducing their usage, they actually increase the grid load to make the generators more efficient.
The whole grid load is now pulling towards a steady, consistent load 24/7 and this load can now be tailored at the generators to be 95% efficient; all without the swings and dips caused by industry shutting down for the night, and consumers still using less and less to 'save power' during off peak load times.
This is a carrot and stick approach where-as at the moment there is NO carrot, just a big stick in the form of outrageous power bills.
Some people [ myself included] have taken the steps of putting lightly used appliances on a permanent lower tariff. The spa, the pool, washing machine, dishwasher, air conditioning, pond pumps. This is fine but with my method, the standard tariff can NOW be changed on everything else.
You see at the moment, tariff 33 is ON, except during times of heavy load but your normal rate on everything else never changes even when there is next to bugger-all load on the grid.
It seems fair and just to switch EVERYTHING to tariff 33, when there is light load.
When the load is heavy, switch OFF the low tariff appliances [ hot water etc etc ] and switch OVER the rest to normal rate [21]. From a power engineers point of view [And I one in the family] this is the way to go to make the whole system more efficient.
Lets take an example if this system is implemented. I have a spa which I want to use BEFORE 6pm. I know that as long as I take my spa before this time, the rate I am being charged to heat and run it, is T33 [ Low tariff ] but when 6PM rolls around, my tariff will change to T21 [ Normal tariff].
Because I didn't have to go through the expense of additional house wiring to hook the spa to a permanent circuit on T33 at the switch board, my spa does not stop but simply is charged at the T21 rate from that time just like everything else in the house.
Additionally, if I have appliances that CAN be turned off when the tariff changes, I can simply put them on a store bought timer [ Bar fridge, dishwasher and the rest ].
A smart portable, plug in Tariff sensor would be even better - when your plug in tariff sensor sees the change, it simply switches the appliance OFF but monitors the power in the house hold circuitry in case the tariff changes back. This would be more EFFICIENT than a timer since the supplier can turn the tariffs over at any time really, if the load is excessive. Result is complete tailoring by the consumer of what appliances run on what tariff when it changes state.
Another example - I watch my plasma TV to see the news at 5PM instead of 6PM because I know that the TOTAL tariff is T33 before this time. At 6PM I turn OFF my plasma TV [ or the tariff SENSOR plugged into the power point does - OR NOT!!] then I go to the Bedroom and watch my shows on the little portable. I HAVE TOTAL control over what I spend when I run appliances at peak load times. An addition hidden saving is the fact that when the tariff sensor turns your plasma TV off - it turns it OFF!!!, not in wastfull stand-by mode.
As it stands at this point, I can STILL implement a system that does just what I have described - but it costs a little money to do it.
I have T33 circuits, an electronic meter which shows T33 and T21 constantly. When the T33 is turned off, the appliances [ on separate cable runs from the switch board ] turn OFF. To run my plasma TV on T33 AND T21 when T33 turns off, I simply devised a change over circuit and used an UPS to power the TV.
By running a cable from the T33 circuit which can handle the load without tripping the breaker, I have 2 power points next to each other behind the TV. T33 PP and T21 [ normal ] PP. The T33 PP is red, the other is normal white - so I know which is which.
The TV is powered by a cheap UPS but powerful enough to handle the TV load. Between the UPS and the power points, I have a heavy duty relay box with 2 changeover contacts. This box has 2 male plugs where I plug 2 short leads in and connect to the 2 power points. The TV is running from the UPS. While T33 is active, the relay supplies this power to the UPS. When T33 disappears, the relay changes the power over to T21 [ normal household power ]. Because the UPS is designed to supply power without interruption for as little as even 1 minute, the TV stays on. The only indication that T33 has gone is the relay switching over in a few milliseconds.
I can only do this NOW because the rules for T33 connection HAVE BEEN CHANGED!. You no longer have to 'hard wire' appliances into T33 circuit but can use a Power point. Thank you for showing some common sense, Energex.
If my own tariff change idea was implemented, I need not bother with all this jiggery-pokery to run certain appliances on BOTH tariffs. As a matter of fact, your energy supplier WOULD have a brand NEW marketing product - the plug in tariff sensor and switch; an additional money spinner.
I've been in electrics for 44 years, with 8 years university education in electronics and general electrics. I've made devices that don't exist yet because I needed a device to DO what I wanted to be done. I have a relative who is a power station engineer. I'm no johnny come lately in the electrical game.
Overall advantage of this system is blatently obvious. No more expense and time wasting having new wiring run to the switch board. No more adding another meter to the switch board by your supplier, no more adding ANYTHING because the tariff is changed by the supplier to the ONE meter that monitors everything. The ONLY requirement is that the one and only meter must be one of the new electronic ones [ I have one already installed ]. The responsibility of tariff regulation of appliances now rests solely with the consumer [ as it should be ] who buys as many plug in tariff sensor switches as he requires.
God damn - everyone wins.
NEXT STAGE [KEEP DREAMIN]
NEW TARIFF SWITCH PLUG IN. [TSP] SCENERIO
I just bought several TSP's for my home so I can program various appliances to save power.
The instructions say that it has been pre-programed for Queensland power but I can buy a small program box [ which is about the same size as the TSP] to change the mode according to which state I'm in and sense the respective tariff pulses.
My units don't need to be changed as I bought them through Energex at a discount rate instead of my local electrical retail store. Instructions say that the flat pack plug in unit is preprogramed for T33 and T21 detection.
3 lights are on the front; one red, one green, one orange which tell me which
tariff my household power is on at any given time and whether power is off for the appliance.
The orange led tells me I am on the high rate [T21] and the green led tells me my domestic supply is on the low rate [T33]. The red led tells me the appliance is switched off at this plug pack [ selectable ].
Under the 3 leds are 2 push buttons. One labeled 'rate' and the other labeled 'auto'
When I first plug into the power point and power is applied to the flat pack; all three leds flash several times to tell me its working properly; then [ depending on the rate I KNOW is on - say T21 - high rate]
I press both the rate button and the auto button simulaneously ONCE. The low rate led comes on but I am not on the low rate at this time, I am on the high rate - so I press BOTH buttons again to toggle the flat pack. The high rate led comes on.
Instructions say that once the correct rate is established for the flat pack, no further intervention is required as when the rate changes; the flat pack will see the signal and toggle the leds automatically from high rate led [orange] to low rate led [green].
Now I have to decide whether I want THIS appliance to switch off when the rate changes.
I want the appliance to switch off when the rate changes from T33 [ Low rate ] to T21 [ high rate ].
I do this by momentarily pressing only the rate key once. The low rate led [green] flashes a few times while the 'off' led [red] is on steady. When the low rate led stops flashing - the 'off' led' goes out. I have now just programed the flat pack to turn off when the low rate led 'green' is off. If the tariff is 'toggled' to the high rate, the low rate indicator goes out - the appliance is switched off and the 'off' led is eluminated.
On the next appliance, I don't need it to be turned off at any time, so I just dont fit a TSP flatpack on it's powerpoint [main fridge].
The next appliance, I need to have a choice as to whether I might need it on all the time OR switch off when the rate 'toggles' I go through the motions as with the first plug pack.
This instruction, as before, tells the flat pack to turn the appliance off when the rate toggles.
Now I want to turn it off [ or on ] using a button on the flat pack. If I push the 'auto' switch TWICE, the plug pack turns off - the red led turns on to tell me it has cut power to the appliance and will NOT turn on again until I press the 'auto' button again.
While the TSP is manually off, it STILL monitors and stores the tariff toggle so it can resume its program when I manually turn the TSP on again. To turn the TSP on again [ and supply power to the appliance ] I momentarily push the 'auto' key ONCE. The TSP resumes its program.
But now I want to have the power on this appliance on ALL THE TIME. Instead of removing the TSP from the power point and plugging in the appliance directly, all I have to do is push and HOLD the auto button until the high rate [orange] led starts flashing. I release the auto switch and the power is maintained to the appliance until I change the program.
Oh Crap -I've changed my mind and want the appliance to turn off when the rate toggles. All I have to do is push the auto switch ONCE as before and the flat pack resumes its program. Piece of cake.
My TSP's have button standby batteries in case of power failier so that every TSP 'remembers' it's state.
I also bought some cheaper TSI's [Tariff state indicators] which look like the TSP's but are smaller and have just 2 leds and one button on them. These little cuties can be pluged into powerpoints all over the house to instantly tell you what tariff is being applied to the whole house. They make GREAT little night lights too, what a bonus.
When I plug them in, one of the leds [orange or green] comes on. To toggle the leds because the wrong tariff led comes on, just push the button once. From then on, when the tariff changes on the whole house, the leds 'flip'. These suckers also have a standby button battery inside then so if power fails and returns, the leds don't 'flip' to the wrong tariff.
Power failiers in the middle of the night can be easily noticed because the 'button' stand by batteries power the circuit to make both TSI leds slowly flash alternatly. When power is resored, the TSI circuit remembers it's last state and that led comes back on again.
I now have total control over every appliance in the house without dedicated tariff circuits and extra meters and all the bull shit that goes with it. My biller NOW doesn't have to send me a bill with 2 meter readings and 2 different charges. Just one bill with -
Total KW used, total money spent, TOTAL HOURS ON T21, TOTAL HOURS ON T33 [WHICH SHOULD BE THE SAME FOR EVERYONE WITH ELECTRONIC METERS SINCE EVERYONES HOUSEHOLD IS ELECTRONICALLY SWITCHED BETWEEN TARIFFS].
From THIS bill, knowing the hours on each tariff, I can easily calculate how much money I used on both tariffs, and thus, the savings. Mistakes in the bill can be more easily detected, since the cost for each rate is known and the hours on each rate is quoted.
I'll be glad when some WANKER in the industry puts all this forward and makes these god damned units.

Parliament bullshit from Julia Gizzard
I was listening to parliament today [thur 26 May ] and I couldn't believe my ears when the [assistant] prime minister - Julia Gizzard made some outrageous and blatently rediculous statements. If it were not for parliamentry regulations, the public or rather, the top scientists could sue her for absolute lies.
She said .. " Carbon dioxide is a green house gas and the science is well and truely in; that it is the cause of present global warming. China and Russia have initiated carbon trading to help blah blah blah"
F*UCKING WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY ??. Well I guess she never listened in high scool, or did she ever GO to high school. A bloody moron knows that CO2 is f*cking well heaver than air, so how in the be-jezzus does it concentrate in the upper atmosphere. It represents less that 2% of all global influencing gasses [ water vapor being the main green house gas - 80% or more].
The atmosphere is homeostatic because of water vapour [ It self regulates the climate with clouds]. The CO2 concentration has increased by 4% in the last 8 years but the average global temperature has been in STATUS !!!. Nearly every scientist in the world has PROVEN that man made CO2 does NOT influence the global weather SWINGS [changes in the short term - decades].CO2 concentration LAGS global weather change, NOT causes it. Australia represent 2% of all global emmisions [ including the dangerous green house gasses like flurocarbons]. If Australia ceased to exist tomorrow, the change in temperature over a decade or MORE would be 0.01 degrees centigrade - almost unmeasurable] The Iclandic volcano has spewed out in ONE day enough crap to cancel 2 years worth of zero carbon output of the whole of Australia.

China, Russia and India have said 'Get stuffed' and have absolutly no intention of starting carbon trading. China is ramping up it's coal fired power stations by 500% in the next decade.

3. Reduce the price of cigarettes to nearly half what they are since all packaging from all manufacturers can be done by the ONE company at reduced cost - so lowering the price is gunna LOWER the number of smokers ????. You gotta be f*cking kidding.
You don't need half a brain to see this bull shit for what it is.
I really think Professor Bob Carter NEEDS to address parliament on the climate and carbon issue or sue the bastards for treating the general public like morons of the first order.

Q and A ABC 5th April comments
Did everyone see Q and A with Keven Rudd as guest ? April 5th 2011.
KR's comments and banter could have been scripted right out of a stage play complete with people's questions on a prompt sheet.
In order to understand how the scenario works you have to understand what went on in the Labor Government at the time all the false and misleading data on climate change, was first announced.
This is important, so try to follow me here. I will make it a script from a stage play so you can piece together what goes on in the minds of politicians with total disregard for their duty of responsibility to the voters who put them there in the first place.
First we have the Labor Government in the form of a caucus, or round table of misfits with the aim of staying in power as long as possible for THEIR benefit; no matter what the consequence to the Australian Voter or indeed, the long term consequences to our quality of life. Will call this lot 'G'. References to 'G' will be post noted with unnamed parties within the 'G' like 'G-1' 'G-2'
Next we have Keven Rudd, the person of interest on Q and A. Just call him 'K'
when the first Bull shit regarding human caused climate change was announced, the Labor party embraced this willingly because it achieved an alternative agenda more readily than anything they could come up with. To wit – how to squeeze more taxes out of the Australian taxpayer and lend credibility to doing so. Every scheme they came up with either failed; because it was badly planned, or cost more money and effort than the supposed benefit to the public it was supposed to endow. Money was disappearing fast through inefficiency, incompetence by ministers who knew next to jack shit about the portfolios they were in charge of, and jobs for the boys.
Here was a scenario that had world backing, at the time, and would enable the Labor Government to impose a new 'consumption' tax without calling it such.
'G' – this is great. Scientists have said human C02 emission’s are causing dangerous climate change around the world. Since we can't increase the GST without getting the boot [ cause we need the money; we're going broke ], we can now come up with some method of extracting money from the Taxpayer in the supposed effort to do our bit and reduce emissions.
'G-1' – But won't we have to really reduce C02 levels by using this tax ?
'G' – well, yes and no. We can do what governments always do and be SEEN to be doing something; sort of token schemes and some emission’s will be reduced. We can use the obvious surplus to boost our stash and pay off all the debt we owe through past idiotic schemes.
'G-2' – wait a minute, at this time a great deal of money comes from industry that obviously puts out as lot of C02; like coal production.
'G' – we can get around that in the form of credits and compensation payments; but will thrash that out later. As for now, we can go to the public with genuine concern for the planet and sincere interest in Australia's well being in the long term through sustainable growth and prosperity – with liberty and justice for all. Ha Ha Ha.
Please note, the term 'sustainable growth' is an absolute nonsense.
Now it was revealed through IMPERICAL DATA that C02 emissions had nothing to do with climate change and the whole hoo-ha was a plot to achieve various alternative agenda's. You can find all this from the NET.
'G' – now we are in real trouble because we KNOW that this climate change fiasco is pure bull shit so we have have no alternative but to do several things.
First – we need this tax, so we have to convince people that there is descent ion around the world about climate change causes.
Second – we cannot do an about face on C02 emissions because this will decimate our credibility completely. WE know it's all bull shit but the public are sceptical so we'll use this to our advantage.
Third: - we have blotted departments with ministers [ jobs for the boys and girls ] whose job it now is to oversea climate change policy and direction. We can't throw them out of a job – they know too much. We don't want a 'wikileaks' scenario at this time.
Now Keven comes in to this debate.
'K' – I don’t think this climate change fiasco will hold water but I'll go along with it because I'm prime minister and my jobs on the line too. The arguments you lot put up seem sensible in the light of the condition of Labor at the moment.
Keven later has a change of heart and opposes every effort to impose the tax.
At this stage, the caucus knows that Keven may blow the whistle on the whole plot so he's given the boot as PM in favour of JG.
'G' – Kev; this is for your own good but don't get bitter or panic. You will get the job of foreign minister if you keep mum about our plans.
Now on Q and A. 'K' ingratiates him self in several clever ways.
First he openly admits he made a mistake in opposing the ETS and Carbon tax. This makes him a good Joe in the eyes of the public. This does several things for 'G'. It validates their pushing this bull shit to the bitter end even if the public KNOWS its all bull shit anyway. 'K' doesn't believe a word he is saying but it keeps him in a job for now; besides, when the whole thing blows up [ and it will eventually ]he's in a neutral corner [ finally ] and can now plead to the lesser charge of 'I was fooled just like the public, after all, I'm no scientist'.
Very clever Kev.
His apparent admittance he made a mistake also gives the Labor party some hope in credibility and that they did the right thing by replacing him. Notice he also qualified his position as being BETTER than Prime Minister. A silent signal to the party that he is really happy to be in a job of both worth and more importantly – NEUTRALITY to party politics. He is now just a go between in world affairs concerning climate change, he does not take a real active part in policy making – he just enforces it on the world stage. Hee hee hee.
And I thought Batty Beattie was a smart cookie. Peter, your a piker compared to Federal labour caucus.
Julia, on the other hand, also is aware that C02 emission’s is BS but being the FIRST women PM , she refuses herself the luxury of being wrong. She knows she will be out on her arse come next election. In actual fact; Keven has laid the initial ground work for continuing in politics no matter what the consequences of labour stuff ups, hell he might even go independent in the future. Keven can't afford being out of a job as there is limit opportunities to STAY in a high position anywhere in the government. Julie, on the other hand, knows she will be booted as PM at elections, BUT still has other directions to follow, she might even score a foreign ministry position. It's all about keeping you job no matter what the cost to Australia. Stuff the public, just get more money from them and play dice with the proceeds.
We'll sum it up with some obvious statements.
Keven knows that a carbon tax is all BS.
He knows that saying he was wrong in opposing it, keeps everyone happy.
He knows when the shit hits the fan, he'll get splattered with a small amount compared to the Labor Government and especially certain ministers like Penny Wong. Sorry penny, your definitely Wong.
Jeff Combett has been proven on talk back radio, to be a boob of the first order. If Jeff said the sky was Blue, I'd have to go outside and verify it.
Julia PM knows the carbon tax is BS but what choice does she have ?.
Admit she's lied about everything in the past and kill her political career for eternity ? No, the only thing left is to push the carbon tax BS and exit gracefully as PM at election time, thus preserving her character as a dedicated believer and true blue Aussie.

In order to understand how the scenario works you have to understand what went on in the Labor Government at the time all the false and misleading data on climate change, was first announced.

when the first Bull shit regarding human caused climate change was announced, the Labor party embraced this willingly because it achieved an alternative agenda more readily than anything they could come up with. To wit – how to squeeze more taxes out of the Australian taxpayer and lend credibility to doing so. Every scheme they came up with either failed; because it was badly planned, or cost more money and effort than the supposed benefit to the public it was supposed to endow. Money was disappearing fast through inefficiency, incompetence by ministers who knew next to jack shit about the portfolios they were in charge of, and jobs for the boys.
Here was a scenario that had world backing, at the time, and would enable the Labor Government to impose a new 'consumption' tax without calling it such.
'G' – this is great. Scientists have said human C02 emission’s are causing dangerous climate change around the world. Since we can't increase the GST without getting the boot [ cause we need the money; we're going broke ], we can now come up with some method of extracting money from the Taxpayer in the supposed effort to do our bit and reduce emissions.
'G-1' – But won't we have to really reduce C02 levels by using this tax ?
'G' – well, yes and no. We can do what governments always do and be SEEN to be doing something; sort of token schemes and some emission’s will be reduced. We can use the obvious surplus to boost our stash and pay off all the debt we owe through past idiotic schemes.
'G-2' – wait a minute, at this time a great deal of money comes from industry that obviously puts out as lot of C02; like coal production.
'G' – we can get around that in the form of credits and compensation payments; but will thrash that out later. As for now, we can go to the public with genuine concern for the planet and sincere interest in Australia's well being in the long term through sustainable growth and prosperity – with liberty and justice for all. Ha Ha Ha.
Please note, the term 'sustainable growth' is an absolute nonsense.
Now it was revealed through IMPERICAL DATA that C02 emissions had nothing to do with climate change and the whole hoo-ha was a plot to achieve various alternative agenda's. You can find all this from the NET.
'G' – now we are in real trouble because we KNOW that this climate change fiasco is pure bull shit so we have have no alternative but to do several things.
First – we need this tax, so we have to convince people that there is descent ion around the world about climate change causes.
Second – we cannot do an about face on C02 emissions because this will decimate our credibility completely. WE know it's all bull shit but the public are sceptical so we'll use this to our advantage.
Third: - we have blotted departments with ministers [ jobs for the boys and girls ] whose job it now is to oversea climate change policy and direction. We can't throw them out of a job – they know too much. We don't want a 'wikileaks' scenario at this time.
Now Keven comes in to this debate.
'K' – I don’t think this climate change fiasco will hold water but I'll go along with it because I'm prime minister and my jobs on the line too. The arguments you lot put up seem sensible in the light of the condition of Labor at the moment.
Keven later has a change of heart and opposes every effort to impose the tax.
At this stage, the caucus knows that Keven may blow the whistle on the whole plot so he's given the boot as PM in favour of JG.
'G' – Kev; this is for your own good but don't get bitter or panic. You will get the job of foreign minister if you keep mum about our plans.
Now on Q and A. 'K' ingratiates him self in several clever ways.
First he openly admits he made a mistake in opposing the ETS and Carbon tax. This makes him a good Joe in the eyes of the public. This does several things for 'G'. It validates their pushing this bull shit to the bitter end even if the public KNOWS its all bull shit anyway. 'K' doesn't believe a word he is saying but it keeps him in a job for now; besides, when the whole thing blows up [ and it will eventually ]he's in a neutral corner [ finally ] and can now plead to the lesser charge of 'I was fooled just like the public, after all, I'm no scientist'.
Very clever Kev.
His apparent admittance he made a mistake also gives the Labor party some hope in credibility and that they did the right thing by replacing him. Notice he also qualified his position as being BETTER than Prime Minister. A silent signal to the party that he is really happy to be in a job of both worth and more importantly – NEUTRALITY to party politics. He is now just a go between in world affairs concerning climate change, he does not take a real active part in policy making – he just enforces it on the world stage. Hee hee hee.

Julia, on the other hand, also is aware that C02 emission’s is BS but being the FIRST women PM , she refuses herself the luxury of being wrong. She knows she will be out on her arse come next election. In actual fact; Keven has laid the initial ground work for continuing in politics no matter what the consequences of labour stuff ups, hell he might even go independent in the future. Keven can't afford being out of a job as there is limit opportunities to STAY in a high position anywhere in the government. Fact: We cannot have zero resources growth without zero population growth else the quality of life of all humans will deteriorate to cave man status
Fact: It is next to impossible;e to have instantaneous zero population growth.
The above is NOT fiction, but actual scientific fact whether you want to believe it or not. So what are the alternatives no matter how horrific they may be ?.
We can FORCE zero resources usage by the old but useless method of making them so expensive, only a privileged few can use them.
RESULT: Quality of life disappears for nearly everyone BUT the privileged few.
METHOD: Perpetrate the false premise that the usage of these resources is what’s really killing the planet. When in fact it is accelerated population growth that is forcing us to use more resources.
We are at this time, populating ourselves to destruction.
Somehow, make a large part of earth’s population disappear [ DIE!!!]. We then can regulate resources use AND maintain zero population growth. Not a very pleasant alternative is it ?.
The blunt truth is we have NO CHOICE. Do you think that some people haven't realised this many decades ago?. Do you think it impossible that right NOW , mass extinction of at least 50% of the population is being planned as a last resort scenario ?. I'm no scientist but I can put 2 and 2 together, I do read every scientific journal I can get my hands on, I do have a logical mind, I am an exponent of 'Theoristics' . HOW TO BUGGER UP QLD POWER CROOKS
QUEENSLAND – THE BULLSH*T, CORRUPT STATE
I posted a lot of articles on other forums concerning all the bullsh*t, corrupt practices by this sh*t government; most of which were removed because I told it like it was. Well f**k you whirlpool forums and the rest of the wankers running these sites. Now I going to show you what I wrote which would have some corrupt officials trying to charge me for suggesting criminal activity. So free speech is finally stamped out in Queensland ?.
These are the things that have been done by criminal elements in other countries and indeed, here in Australia, to get revenge on authorities that otherwise treated the public as cash cow morons. I DO NOT ADVOCATE ANY OF THESE ACTIVITIES, BUT WHAT OTHER PEOPLE DO IS OF NO CONCERN TO ME; I JUST REPORT WHAT I HEAR.
ELECTRICITY
Back in the 60’s in another state, a friend of a friend of a friend of mine was really pissed off by the way he was treated by the state electricity authority. The reason is not important but he wanted to really stuff them up well and truly. The first suggestion was mix up some 2 part epoxy and walk up a suburban street late at night – stuff epoxy into the key holes of the street pole padlocks that release the EHT breakers, next, stuff the epoxy into the house distribution cover keyholes of streets with UNDERGROUND cable power [These are the white pyramid covers every few houses – usually located between 2 houses and distribute power to the house meter box].
One bright spark came up with the blackout method. A stocking [or leg of pantyhose today] with a small heavy object on the bottom. To the other end of the stocking, he attached about 3 meters [10 feet] of light gauge bare copper wire. You now have a sling shot with a wire tail. No guesses for what this does. The fool actually tested it one night in MY suburb [Another state]. It was the next day I asked what he did with the sling shot and he said he just swung it around, launched it over street lines and when the trailing wire bridged the lines, the local street transformer tripped the breaker. “ great, I was watching IMT and you blacked us all out for an hour you wanker’.
Today of course, this sort of activity would get you a one way trip to a 10 by 10 room with iron bars [If you get caught, that is]. A more modern and LEGAL method.

This method requires EVERYONE who has had enough of price hikes, official corruption and money down the gurgler with bullsh*t schemes. I recon that covers most of us. You have to be prepared to put up with DELIBERATELY PLANNED BLACKOUTS but at a time you KNOW will happen so that you can prepare for it.
Here we go –
The electricity grid is in such a state at the moment, generators have to be geared up for predicted, anticipated load at certain times [these are peak load times]. We all know when they occur and balancing the grid is almost like air traffic control; I kid you not.
When something untoward happens, it’s a mad scramble to balance the grid so that some areas don’t go into overload, and other area’s don’t get ‘brownout’ with low voltage or voltage ‘drag’. By KNOWING where the load will occur and what time it predictable happens, power distribution control can swing in generators and route feed lines to accommodate the load. All fine and dandy, dandy and fine.
But what happens when there is a MASSIVE UNPREDICTABLE LOAD at a time when it should NOT occur – AND – in an area that never experiences these massive loads ????
What we have then is an area black out if the feed lines cannot handle the surge [Breakers trip] before the power distribution people can swing in extra generators or feed routers.
YOU CAN MAKE THIS HAPPEN LEGALLY from your own home. Just like the instant crowd days, all it takes is for everyone in a suburb or area to switch on everything AT THE SAME TIME for just a few minutes when the load is not anticipated. The grid has been looted of profits for maintenance for years by corrupt governments and it is NOW in such a state, that anything abnormal can knock out a whole suburb. A truck hits a power pole and instead of taking out a street or two, the whole suburb or maybe 3, gets an instant blackout. The sudden surge trips a breaker – which in turn pulls instantaneous surge load from branch feeds – which [because the lines are at maximum rated load still and not upgraded for freeking years] causes a domino effect and blacks out street after street after street until the bulk surge is dropped to manageable levels at the area substation.
All this takes is someone, somewhere in this fair state to organize a ‘kill the power site’ on the net - where by notification is given where and when the people promoted surge is to occur.
What will happen ?
Well, for a start, the people participating [and it takes nearly everyone in an area or even a street to do it] will know when the power will fail because they will be promoting it. The participants can now have a time scale to prepare their house for the blackout [which should last for less than 30 minutes]. It doesen’t matter a pinch of sh*t if the lead in time is days or even a week or two; the line capacity JUST ISN”T THERE TO HANDLE IT in suburbs that do not have industry that uses this massive surge. That’s the whole point…. Suburbs that are residential [especially older suburbs] and are zoned NEVER to be industrial, just haven’t got the redundancy surge value to handle a massive draw on the lines that would otherwise never occur. If the idea gets as big as ‘WIKILEAKS’ the power companies would have a heart attack trying [and failing] to cope with these loads.
Here’s how it would work – at the time and date specified, a particular area, or suburb, would have all it’s residential users run around the house and switch on EVERYTHING at once [NOT computers or other equipment in use that can’t put up with data loss on black out at this time – otherwise, turn them on too] Turn on the stove [all hotplates], the air con’s, Fans, Bar heaters, the lights, the solar HW booster, the radio, the TV’s, plug in and run the vacuum cleaner, the washers, dryers on hot, the dishwasher, the bloody lot for just 5 minutes at the appointed time. Blackout guaranteed. Make sure your OWN switchboard can handle this. Otherwise you will have a blackout before the area surge is detected.
This idea is a spin off from the ‘kill petrol prices’ idea which, incidentally, actually worked in the early 1950’s in Melbourne because everyone took part and it didn’t cost a penny to do it; just a little time. I’ll explain this one shortly because you can slash the price of petrol in this country by using the ‘buy only what you need’ method. The trouble with most Australians is that we have become so ‘Laid back’ and downright apathetic to problems we tend to look after numero uno and bugger anyone else. Well the time has come [the Walrus said] to shake off this in ground attitude and ORGANISE. F**k me, we elected these pricks to look after our interests and it becomes more apparent that they just couldn’t give a rat’s arse about you and me – as long as there is the fast buck at the end of it all. Surly there is SOMEONE out there with enough will and clout to set something like this up and bring these bastards to their knees. I for one will happily participate knowing full well [being in electrics for 44 years] that it DOES work, it WILL work, it CAN work and the results are at the least, total power company chaos. I reiterate; the methodology is perfectly LEGAL. You pay for power, you pay for ALL the power you can draw and nobody can dictate WHEN you draw that power. The cost for 5 minutes max draw is about an hours worth of normal draw [less than $2 in a quarterly power bill].
If you rotate different area’s picking just those that are residential only, each area would only have to do it ONCE in 2 years – and that’s picking a time every day of the week.
