Stephen Robertson
Stephen Robertson is Queensland’s Minister for Natural Resources, Mines and Energy and Minister for Trade, and Member for Stretton. He was first elected to the Queensland Parliament in 1992.
Prior to that, he worked in a number of research and advocacy positions in the trade union movement including State Secretary and National President of the United Firefighters Union of Australia.
[ He was a lackey and 'yes' man for Martin Fergison - who was a stand over merchant in the union movement - more jobs for the boys in Labor]
During his parliamentary career, Mr Robertson has served as Secretary of the Parliamentary Labor Party, Parliamentary Secretary to the Deputy Premier, Chair of the Small Business Advisory Council, member of the Queensland Innovation Council and the Queensland Food Industry Council. [ You would think that with all this experience, he would be a good man for all seasons. Unfortunately, in my experience, these people are discreetly gotten rid of because they know too much. In Robinsons case however - it's a case of incompetence so he is shuffled from one portfolio to the next ]
In December 1999, Mr Robertson was promoted to Minister for Emergency Services.[ Which he promptly stuffed up for all time - now nothing can fix it accept a massive overhaul of the system ] Following the 2001 state election he was appointed Minister for Natural Resources and Mines and then Minister for Natural Resources, Mines and Energy after the 2004 election. [ He in actual fact was 'demoted' or rather moved sideways after stuffing up the health services. No doubt there was collusion, bribes and jobs for the boys in this position. ]
During this period, Mr Robertson was responsible for driving major reforms including the cessation of broad-scale tree clearing in Queensland, [ now in a minor role here - he stuffed up the timber industry which is all but decimated.] a landmark state-wide native title agreement allowing access by the mining industry to traditional lands for exploration; [ And a bucket load of royalties for people who are whiter than I am. Of course, the real Aboriginal couldn't give a toss for money but the 1/64 cast screw ups will gladly take all the money and distribute it unevenly amongst the 164 councils around the state, which exist to suck this country dry of funds ] the introduction of Australia’s first ever Wild Rivers legislation to protect our last remaining pristine river systems [ of which there are stuff all compared to the total river systems ] and the independent review into the state’s electricity distribution sector resulting in a major upgrade to the security and reliability of Queensland’s power distribution system. [ total double speak bullsh*t, else we would be leading the world in photo-voltaic generation. Having totally stuffed every position given him, this moronic idiot even looks like 'steady eddy' or a refugee from hell and now proceeds to stuff up yet another totally stuffed portfolio as electricity minister. If I had the god given devine power, I would make this arse hole disappear into oblivion and keep him right away from any position of responsibility ]
In July 2005, Mr Robertson was appointed Minister for Health where he oversaw the implementation of the $10b – 5 Year Health Action Plan. [ read my bit about how the states fund medicare and you get the picture ] This represents the largest ever injection of new funding into Queensland’s public health system combined with an extensive organizational and service delivery reform program. [ More bullsh*t - where's all the services Stevo ?? what did you spend the money on, bribes to cover up all the stuff-ups ???] In 2007, Mr Robertson was elected Chair of the Australian Health Ministerial Council.[ Reward for effectively hiding all the bribes - remember, this is the tosser who rubber stamped Jayant Patyle's appointment - get the picture ?]
After the recent election, Mr Robertson was appointed Minister for Natural Resources, Mines and Energy and Minister for Trade. [ Appointed my arse - he was TOLD where he was being shifted too ]
Mr Robertson was born in Aberdeen Scotland on 14 February 1962. He has a Bachelor of Arts from Griffith University,[ A degree any moron can get these days - just put in the time and it will be sweet ] graduating with honours from the School of Modern Asian Studies. [ Ummmm Asian studies. Wonder if he's got a hand somewhere in Asian interests trying to buy all Queensland Resources ?]
His local achievements include a new police station at Calamvale; a police shopfront at Sunnybank; the Runcorn Community Sports Complex, the new Calamvale Community College and the new $16m P - 12 Stretton State College. [ Sounds like he studied Batty Beaties methods, so don't dare criticize him else the cops will show up at your door and confiscate every PC you own accusing you of having child porn ]
Stephen actively promotes closer cultural and economic links with Asia and is a strong campaigner against racism. [ And when the Asian's get here, they will prove to you that they mean you no harm - just confirm it with Stevo ]
GET THIS STUFF UP OUT OF POLITICS BEFORE HE DESTROYS WHAT'S LEFT OF QUEENSLAND FOR ALL TIME.

Former Premier bullsh*t
I heard ABC radio get a statement from Batty Beat-up in the USA [ our trade minister ] who stated absolutely that he implemented a system where-by anyone could walk in off the street and discuses problems of a political [ or other ] nature. Having worked in Government for 10 odd years [ or to be politically correct - 10 even years ] I KNOW how the information system works; bugger me, I was a part of it.
If you HAVE to implement a system for the benefit of the people BUT having the people KNOW about it may be a distinct detriment to the system itself then you effectively hid it. You do this by making sure every Government Department knows about it [ in the Gazette ] but make no public announcement what-so-ever. This methodology is use across ALL departments, just ask employment, education and training. Do you really think they would want half of Queensland making an appointment to see the Premier about - say - Police corruption techniques ?.[ Insert smiley here !]. Batty beat-up would be about the smartest con man this state ever had but ONLY because he knew when to cut and run before the sh*t hit the fan, and appointing a female to wear all the flack.

Portable chargers for equipment
Misplaced your widget charger lately ?, can't get one readily from a store ?
'you'll have to order one especially from the manufacturer' your told
all because the makers of these products won't co-operate and make a UNIVERSAL SOCKET
in their mobile phones, Blue teeth, GPS, or anything else that requires charging .
I've had 4 different mobiles, 2 different GPS, 3 different IPAQ - portable video players, notebooks and everything else that you can put in your pocket or purse to communicate. But not ONE of these buggers has the same socket for charging as anyone else and if you are lucky enough to have a charger with that exact match, it's a damn
different voltage. It's a conspiracy to enable 3rd party manufacturers to make special adapters to suit the lot and there-by generate a new market... all because the source plant won't manufacture their product so that a cheap adapter will charge it.
There are 56 different sockets on all these products and not one of the models from the SAME manufacturer have the same socket or voltage
Every time Acme phones makes a new MODEL, it has a different size and/or shape charge socket. I have a bloody drawer full of useless chargers because every time I buy ANYTHING portable that needs a charger, nothing I already have fits it !!.
Oh sure, I now have a universal all pin, all voltage charger for everything but I don't want to have to buy a dozen of them so I can
charge up a dozen devices overnight. I'd like the same identical charger that COMES WITH the device to charge any of the devices, not have to fork out EXTRA cash for an all singing all dancing charger. Sh*t, if I had 10 devices and 2 identical chargers, that would suffice.
What happened to 'save the planet from carbon' crap. To add insult to injury, some devices that have been superseded by model, need to be charged
by devices that no longer exist. God I wish I was Ralph Nader in this country.

Brunnings crap
I use a lot of daily products, shit I should be working for 'choice' magazine.
Some are good or bad or [ dare I say it ] ugly?. Any who, now and again I come across some products that apparently slip by the bodies that investigate things to see you get WHAT YOU PAID FOR !!.
I have several BRUNNINGS products on the shelf and mostly bought from different stores but around about the same time as I am doing a sh*t load of renovations and landscaping. I bought BRUNNINGS rose spray for the 'wozes' and path weed killer for the concrete. Neither of these products is worth a pinch of sh*t !!. The rose spray did jack and I practically emptied the bottle of weed killer on one patch - nufin, I could have drunk the stuff myself as not so much as a stinking leaf withered in a week. The roses were looking worse so I switched to white oil and that did the trick in 48 hrs. Upon examining the contents of both bottles, I found the apparent formula CONCENTRATIONS were so bloody diluted, It's a wonder the stuff is allowed to be sold claiming what it's supposed to do. I had a bad experience with ANOTHER BRUNNINGS product but threw it out in disgust and can't even remember what It was. BRUNNINGS products are crap - diluted to buggery - don't do the job unless you use liters of the crap to drown the weeds. Best bet, buy the super concentrate you dilute yourself, then use it straight. I found this does the job nicely. But I ask myself - why do these products exist if they are as weak as horse piss ??. Why are you charged a sh*t load for a concentrated product that does NEAT what the others claim they will do in a ready mix.
The answer is simple, its a blatant rip off [ that was easy ]. Just like the big MILK rip off that;s coming to light NOW, the powers that be had better start investigating ALL home products that make certain claims but can't cut it because the formula in the container won't produce the results claimed in the DOSAGE recommended. The formula on the packaging may be correct [ no fraud here ] but the claim is bull sh*t by trial and error in the field. The stuff may kill your prized Petunia but as for hardy weeds; forget it.
